During this internship, I hope to achieve the communication skills I know I'll need in the future. I'm learning new things as each day passes and I know I'll be pleased with the outcome in the end. This overall, looks like it's going to be a great experience for myself and I'm looking forward to it!

  • Erin Krieger - LeRoy

My name is Erin Krieger, I am from LeRoy Saskatchewan. I moved away to Moose Jaw to take Hairdressing. I continue to do hair out of my home but wanted another job because my Hairdressing is only part time. I heard about the CAP program from my friend Jenny who had also done this program last year. She said she really liked it and said that I would probably like it as well. Which I do! I was very excited when I got the call that they wanted me to be the CAP student this year! This is my first year as a CAP intern and have only been doing it since October. What I hope to achieve in my internship is to help my community become more familiar with the use of computers as well as internet use. I also have learnt a lot myself being an intern! In LeRoy we have a lot of immigrants who have family back at home, so I teach them different ways of communication they can do using the internet which they have found very helpful to stay intact with family back at home. So far I have really enjoyed it and am looking forward for the next few months.
